Perspective of scout
Dear journal to day in school i found some thing really interesting while i was running around there was some thing that caught my eye there where some trees across the street there was a little light shinning and it looked really interesting like if there was some thing important over there so i thought it would be a good idea if i would go know what is going on over there . So when i was there it first looked like there was a mystery going on then i found a piece of gum it did not looked like it was an abc gum so it would not be bad if i chewed it . when i told jem about it he looked suspicious so he went over to the tree and he found a forhead and it looked really important so me and jem think this is some one secret hiding place or maybe we are wrong but it looks like is where some one stores there stuff and it looks pretty important to me . I really want to know who used to or comes here because i want to talk to them about this because it looks like it has some unknown history and i am up for learning some thing new today

Your journal entry has everything there. It has all the details of what your trying to say, its just confusing and hard to understand. I think what would help is if you used more sentences. Whether it's adding more sentences or making the sentences that you have into more. Overall, I think that you did a really good job.
